Thanks to info on this site I have gotten all the yr, model and engine numbers, downloaded everything except the operation, owner, parts manual on the engine and I have talked to American Power on getting those manuals. What I am looking for is any color pictures of a 1975 SA200 as originally sold. That way I can get the color, face plates and other labels back to when the machine was sold. I search for Pics on the Inet but none was good enought to see everything. 'ppreciate any help. jt
Reply:The company name should be Mid America Power and you have to call them for downloading manuals. (I think I got the co. name correct, if not go to Wis Con Power)
Reply:Here are some pics of a machine that should be right around a 1975 Attached Images
Reply:Yup, looks just like my '74.Anyone have any idea what years or how long they used that lead output boss?Gordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."
Reply:Thanks for the pics; My machine works great but looks abused! Not destroyed, just kinda goofy looking when I got it. Previous owner didnt have doors for it and was not really maintained as it should have been and besides that was painted some s****y yellow and has faded to some god awful color now. Any tips on getting rid of any and all add on colors. All the metal seems to be in good shape. I haven't checked around on any cost on sand blasting. Any thoughts?
Reply:easy off works great for removeing paint ( just ask my wife - I am no longer alowed to clean kitchen) the yellow sounds like an air force machine , my 1957 sa-300 had yellow paint and I did find a nsn tag on the frame |
