A couple of months back there was a thread on tilting trailers and one of our members posted a picture of a tilting trailer with I think three or four shock absorbers mounted on the front so as to slow the rising and falling of the bed. I have a one ton tilting trailer and would like to add this feature to mine. I have looked high and low for this picture and can not locate it. If anyone remembers this thread and knows its whereabouts please tell. Thanks Bob
Reply:Is this the one you were looking for?http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...f-cart-trailerIt's the closest I could think of that matched your description.
Reply:Thanks Bistineau, that is the one!!! Thanks Bob
Reply:Hi rhunt, I used 4 x FJ 45 Landcruiser gas and oil shocks for a bit of positive pressure to pick-up the deck. Two shocks will do exactly the same work. Casper
Reply:Thanks Casper and a really nice job on your build. How much does that golf cart weigh? It looks heavy. Best regards, Bob
