Pipe fence done

Just finished another run of pipe fence for a customer. This is the second run of fence for this man. Start the next run in a couple months. Doing about a thousand feet at a time. Here's some pics. Attached Images

Reply:I always go with the 1/8", 6010, 5P+ for this. It makes it easier welding the rusty pipe to the galvanized panels. The gates were done with wire in the shop.

Reply:I believe its actually stiff panels rather than wire mesh... I don't think you could weld it if it was wire.  Bob, how much do you typically charge per foot for a fence like this? I've done a couple that looked identical to that but it was for close friends so they got the "friend rate" anyway.I’m just happy to be here!

Reply:That was material and labor not to include the holes. It's hard to price holes when you don't know what is in the ground.This fence was also screwed together at the joints. Nicer fences, say out front of a house, then the threaded joints get cut off and welded. I like to set the posts on 10'. The pipe is usually 31 to 32' long. At 10' spacing the welded joints can be put right on top of the posts and won't be visable in changes of grade. The welded wire panels are 20' so the panel splices will be on a post as well. These things just make it much neater and the fence will look better as well.

Reply:Ran this fence last year in Clifton Tx 600 ft. The owner 65 his partner 67 & I was 74 at the time. ran it in 4 days. I see you have a 301 Trailblazer, I have one too. Attached Images
