Reply:I don't buy it.  They've managed to bond two pieces of wood together with molten carbon in the middle.  But I wouldn't call that a weld by any means.

Reply:not welded, just stuck together with char and wood resin.
Reply:Are they giving any info on tensile, shear or compression testing? Those numbers will show the truth.
