I called Jancy yesterday and the Rep came out and demo'd the slugger saw. I ordered one,  I like what I cut, faster than my bandsaw, cleaner cuts. My bandsaw is a small Jet that I have had nothing but trouble with, its an older one and a whole different rant thread I won't go into here.Jancy was sold in February to Fein, Fein basically bought the annular cutter business. The old man that owned Jancy was about 80 years old and the kids didn't want the business.Good news is ( in my mind ) is Jancy was bought by somebody with a commitment to quality, right now there isn't any change in product line, but we shall see. I would love to see the slugger saw redesigned with a Fein motor, that would be the stuff.Anyway I ordered one after making a few cuts, wish I could have gotten a 220 volt version as I think it would run better on my welder, but they are only available overseas, and I can't wait months to reimport one???
