Built this over the weekend and just now getting around to posting it cause theres nothing better to do while they're cutting away on your foot at the doctors office. So here it is I had 6 disks laying around from a Bush and bog I rebuilt back in freshman year. So i took the thickest blade and made it the base to keep it stable. Then made a bottom and welded the other 4 to the sides. Tried my best for preheat but I had no 309 rods so i used 7018 and beat the hell out of it with the air chisel. Then welded some 1/8in plate to the sides for added strength. Then cut more 1/8th in to seal up the bottomSent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk Attached Images
Reply:I took one look and thought "Feed me Seymour, must be blood, fresh blood"nice work thoughMillerMatic 252, HTP 221 w/cooler, Hypertherm PM45, Lincoln IdealArc 250 AC/DC"I'd like to believe as many true things and as few false things as possible"
Reply:I like that a lot. I have been going down to Weeks Auction here, thinking I might find some loose on a pallet from time to time but no luck.

Reply:That little jewel should help you keep the fires burning.  looks good
Reply:I wanna sell it. I posted it on fb and the only offer I had was a guy who lives an hour away said he'll give me 50$ if I deliver itSent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk
Reply:I would sell it to, the design has a flaw. The gaps between each harrow will not hold any of the ambers in and you need that to keep the fire going strong. Hot ambers and ashes will fall out all over the place and the wind will blow the crap out of the fire blowing more ambers around.Lincoln mig-Pak 180, Leather gloves, vice grips, a couple screw drivers, needle nose pliers, a file, dog, cat and a bird

Reply:Over the years, one thing I have always practiced (and some may be critical of this...) is not to try to negotiate down the price of something made by an artisan or craftsman.  My spouse is an artist and has never negotiated the price on any of her art work.  Creativity is not inherent in all of us.  Granted, some things may be "dressed up junk", but the buyer should be able to tell the difference between junk and art/craftsmanship.  If you like it, pay the price.  If you don't like the price, do your own or go elsewhere.  Off soapbox...
