Couldn't stand the cheezy sheet metal stand that came with the unit so I decided to see if I could improve on it. Reply:Here is a mod you might want to consider, the gear lube in that saw is I do not know what. Graphite and motor oil and turns to slug after some time. Working with a friend his saw would start slow or even stall sometimes. When I bought my saw I opened the gear box and replaced the lube. The stand is worthless with the way the wheels go on it will flip on its side, due to the motor offset, not well balanced. LOL. But with a couple of well thought mods it will cut straight, have mine for 6 years now once you work out the set up, auto off switch and such not a bad saw .
