Reply:Its pretty light welding cable. 2-0 welding lead is more suited to any sort of decent welding.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
Reply:I think 2gauge is only good for 100 amps in general. you can probably get more out of it for welding, but not at the full 50' lengthstill, a good deal for what it is.
Reply:i checked a few charts number two cable is good for 200 amps at 50 feet i am only going to be using it as whips the stuff is well over 3 bucks a foot from the welding supply places around here. i think it will be fine for me i hardly ever run over 200 amps and given the bigest welder i have only outputs 250 amps2-Lincoln idealarc 250/250, lincoln 225 ac/dc welder, lincweld ac 180c, hobart handler 210, hobart stickmate lx 235/160, Hypertherm Powermax30local 26 I.B.E.W Electrician
