HI...I am using fronius tps 5000 machine for synergic pulse gmaw.....I tried everything changed current, arc length, gas flow rate , grounding location.......but these could not solve excessive spatter problem....What may be reason for excessive spatters?I am using very long 10 metre welding cable....set resistance and inductivity......resistance is about 12.7 and inductivity displays 35.........may this be the reason of spatters????? what can I do to control spatters in this conditions??What is droplet detachment correction / force function??? What is the effect of changing it on spatters in synergic mig??
Reply:Spatter can be controlled somewhat through inductance/arc force settings. Gas mix can be critical to spatter control as well. But polarity may have gotten changed or it could be bad wire.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:Thank you....lugweld.....due to the dimension of the job I can not change welding cable or inductance.....any other solution plz......
Reply:thank you.....
