Hey guys, just wanted to post a few photos of projects i have finished this year This trailer started as just sides, but i added an angle iron frame, rebuilt the axle, lights, paint, and a new floor. Plus safety chains, and new leaf springs, and fenders. Its 6.5 feet long, and 4 feet wide. Great project, and now i have a nice little trailer.
Reply:Here is just another photo of a mitten or hat tree. Great for hanging up wet and snowy mittens in the winter. Its just 1/2 inch square tubing, and 1/4 inch round stock. Just painted gloss black.
Reply:I Stole this idea from Jody at Welding Tips And Tricks. Just a little cube, with the holes of a dice. I have made 5 ot 6 of these. This is just a ruff one, before grinding, polishing, and clear coating. I am making some for little gifts for friends for Christmas.
Reply:Welcome, where is home? I'm in Nova Scotia... Projects look good!
Reply:good idea for the mitten rack,i'm tempted to partially copy it ,BUT i have one concern that i simply can't keep silent, please put a loop or a ball even a golf ball at the end of these 1/4 branches. Excuse me for the safety note, it's an easy fix... easyer than dental or ophtalmic surgery.thank's for sharing.

Reply:Thanks. I thought it would, not having a truck at the time. Made up for that.
Reply:First thing I thought when I saw the hat rack was, "Hope nobody slips and falls near that thing". But sounds like you fixed it all up.Nice job.
Reply:Thanks.

Reply:Hey canadian welder, that would be a nice idea to include your location in your profile, then we could warn you first hand about storms coming your way.In fact here we're in the middle of one

Reply:Tell me about it, just finished sanding with the John Deere. Friends and neighbors of mine also run a forestry company. They are after me to plow out the woods roads on the night shift with the grader. Looks like I'm in for a long winter :-) Originally Posted by Canadian WeldingWe have freezing rain right now. Reply:I guess i could add a picture of my welding cart. I made it so that the tool box i keep all of my tools in, fits underneath. Just a simple design.

Reply:Here is a nice little welcome sign. Made form a old trailer leaf spring and some 1/4 rod.
Reply:A Buick sign i made for my dad. Same 1/4 rod.
Reply:Here are 2 signs i welded up. One Ford and i (sadly) had to make a Chevy one too. They are pretty cool.
Reply:Here is a project i finished in January. Its a little tool box to go in my brother truck. Its made from 1/8" and 3/16" plate. I can assure you no one will get into it. Its locked to the truck as well. Its got a shelf in it, and its water tight. (Well, just about). Painted in bed liner, but there was no primer on it, so rust is seeping through. Inside is not painted, waiting for warmer days to do that.
Reply:[QUOTE=Canadian Welding;3685641 I can assure you no one will get into it. [/QUOTE]Wanna bet? I could have it open in a heartbeat with the little 6" Cresent wrench in my back pocket. You will need more than that flimsy padlock to keep it from being gotten into.
Reply:Its called a locked tail gate too. Plus, its just a temporary lock. This one freezes to much. We have an insane huge pad lock that seems to never freeze. Plus, what do you want from it, the washer fluid!!! Haha! That picture was from when we just tested to see if it would slide in the back. It did not.The locked tailgate helps a bunch. I was just referring to what you said about no one being able to get into it. A small cresent could open it quickly. Besides, the only thing that might be worth anything there would be the box, the contents, not so much.
Reply:Haha, ya! Its more of a deterrent for "grabs". It weighs about 60 pounds, plus 10 from the crap in it. Haha!
Reply:Little project I did. Adjustable stool. Stole the idea from weldingtipsandtricks.com. Built from scrap laying around.
Reply:Looks like it could use a little stool softener. Attached ImagesThermal Arc 252iHobart StickmateIf you aint burn'n you aint learn'n.
Reply:Those are all cool stuff. Like most the trailer and shop stool, great use of scraps and they're useful in the shop and for the shop. Great job!

Reply:Here are my latest projects. The pig is my favorite. These are right before they go in for paint. The brake rotor turtle, shovel bird, lawn mower blade thing (not sure what it really is) and the pig. What so you think?
Reply:After Paint
Reply:They look just great! I wish I had a yard so I could go also into yard art! XD
Reply:Sorry if the pictures suck. Snow blower skids. 1/8". Lincoln .035 fluxcore.

Reply:Whipped up this boot rack for my mom. Looks pretty good in my opinion.
Reply:Here is a civic sign holder/post also. I will post some pictures when I get it finished.
Reply:Here is a sweet little fireplace/grill I just finished. It has two racks that fold out of the way. Also has wheels to move it around with. Came out pretty good.
Reply:Anyone got some spare parking? Our driveway is getting full. This is without one we sold last week...
