We have a Carbide toothed chop saw at work and man I really like that thing. The one at the shop is a Makita and the blades are about $150 each. Who else makes these? I have heard of De-walt and Ridge tools selling them. Do any of you have one, if so what do you like or dislike about it. I am going to get one for the shop at home and I am wondering what is the best one to get?
Reply:Search here on the forum for "dry cut saw" - you will find answers to your heart's content. As well as blade recommendations that come in at about 1/3 the cost of what you're seeing. Lots of us use these saws.
Reply:I have a evolution build dry cut saw with a diablo steel demon blade, cuts better than the 200 dollar blades out there.ESAB MigMaster 275Miller Econotwin HFMiller Syncrowave 250 |
