Got those stickers off the caps.This is what I had for the last 15+ years.Now I have these and spares and even room for more.Yeah there is some 4043 there.

Reply:I actually looked for red paint but couldn't find any, I had to use machine gray for the bare metal spots, the other bare metal you see is zink coated.

Reply:That's no where near enough tubes. BTW, the best of paint on the plastic is just asking to be scratched. I got the 2" x 36" case of 25 and gave half of them to a buddyLincolin Power Wave 450, Lincoln Powermig 255, Lincoln Pro Mig 140, Lincoln Squarewave Tig 275, Miller Big 40 G(with Hobart Hefty suitcase), Thermal Arc 95S and Esab PCM875 in an already full machine shop.

Reply:I got most of my caps from a local "Franks hardware". The others (needed more than frank had in stock) I got right down the road at Fleet Farm.  As you can see earlier in the post I turned the ends clean and completely flat on the lathe.
Reply:I like what post 17 put up but think these should have varnish brushed on them to seal them from moisture entering through the paper. The price is right. Just my thoughts,  Bob
