trailer ramps

Friend of mine picked up a deckover trailer, had ramps but were not the correct ones for the trailer. He wanted the same ramp basically but larger. Came up with these.Miller ab/p 330Hobart champ 16Miller 140Lincoln Power Mig 255Lincoln SA-250

Reply:Ramps are tough to build. They are expensive, take a long time to build, and are either too heavy or not strong enough. Not uncommon for ramps to cost half or more what the rest of the trailer costs. Reply:they look long for the supports underneath..lot of free space. not sure of whats goin on it but they might bend towards the btm 3rd

Reply:what is he loading? if it's tracked, I don't think you've got any issues. but if it's on tires you might have some issues with the spacing on the rungs. as for the cost of the ramps claim. I'm going to politely disagree. ramps are not that expensive to build, and it's not hard to build them plenty strong enough. as has been shown multiple times on different thread on this forum, by multiple people. Myself included. With the right design you can easily build ramps that not only exceed the weight requirements, but are also economical to build, and not overly burdensome to move around.There are no problems.
