For Sale or Trade: Miller HF 251D-1 Hi-Frequency Arc Starter! Made In USA!Picked this up in an auction last Saturday and don't have a use for it. Auction was due to a welder going through a divorce.  It was attached to a TIG torch cooler which I will be keeping. These are used with Miller engine drive welders for starting and maintaining the arc while TIG-ing Aluminum on AC.This is in VERY good condition with some minor scratches and scrapes here and there. The inside looks new. Ser. # LC 119540 (11th week, 2002), Mod. # 042388, 120V. 14-pin connectors in and out. I don't have a way to test it but I did plug it in, light came on, I put it on "continuous" for a second or two and heard the "hiss" of the hi-freq. unit. The hi-freq. points look perfect.If it is anything like the rest of the stuff from the welder, it is in fully functional, well-maintained condition. I will assume it has less than the 600 hours the TB301 it was attached to does. It was stored in a beautiful aluminum enclosed trailer. I'm selling this AS-IS but I'll work with you if you have problems--I am NOT selling this for you to use in some other application--buy at your own risk, if you are!Includes:~Adapters to twist Tweco Cam-locks in as shown--I don't have the 5-point wrench to tighten these but an adjustable will work if tightened snugly~A 15' 1/0 workpiece lead with 300A clamp, cable has a couple minor melt marks but nothing nearing all the way through~Original Owners Manual~A 12' plastic gas hose in good condition (not shown)Weldfabulous has these for about $1000+ but I'm offering it up here where it could be appreciated. $500 or trade for:Ruger 10-22Glock G-26, G-27 or ?+/- cash?Shipping is from commercial 32771, and the package will be 50lbs if you want to check on shipping. Yours is quite clean.Price is fair enough, the "modifications" prolly put it in the $400 range tho. I used to see around $500 on average for one repainted, completely clean with a 90 day warranty. Market's a little soft, prices now may vary.IMHO of course.
