I have not used my mig for several years and now I find that the wire speed needed to weld is way down to 4. It is not a good weld, it stinks actually. Normally with my heat settings, it should be set at around 7. Any suggestions what to look for?

Reply:First thing to check is the gun liner. Take it out and blow it out with compressed air and put it back and try again. If it's ANY better buy a new liner.metalmagpie |
