I made another quick video while working at my shop yesterday morning.I show some current projects and talk about some of the tools and equipment that I have. The video is shaky, out of focus, and poorly narrated...enjoy! http://all-a-cart.comWelding Cart Kits and accessories

Reply:I wonder (could not see) if you have any wall space left. Maybe throw your syncrowave up on it, or some other stuff, that does not really have to be on the floor. CNC table is really going to suck up some space, but it looks like you will put it to good use. Water table was really smart for your setup by the way. Reply:Thanks for sharing the vid, Paul.  My horizontal band saw has a coolant pump on it as well, but I'm like you, and just run it dry.  Set the machine up well, be nice to it, and the service life of the blades (I use Morse), even if shortened by the lack of coolant use, is an easy pill to swallow compared to the mess of dealing with coolant.  How old is that Power Mig?  I just picked up a new 256.  So far, so good.-AaronJet 17.5" Drill Press1942 South Bend 16x84 Lathe1980s Miller 320A / BP --- 2013 Power Mig 2562012 Jet 7x12 Horizontal BandsawVictor O/A Setup

Reply:I would show my shop but..........................Way nice shop . I find myself drooling over your bandsaw, and your work is excellent Sets a good example for those just getting off the ground also demonstrates that a big corporate environment is not necessary  for output of the highest quality work..AwesomeMike
Reply:Like almost everyone I would love to watch you weld.  I find it interesting the different subtleties that each person has in their technique.  I would also love to watch a video of what you got through to fit up from raw material to the point of welding.  Fixturing would be a great video I know when I started welding I couldn't imagine how they build tanks and vessels with all the man walks and ladders.  I do now and I find the fixturing just as interesting as the weldments.
Reply:Very nice shop! Love it! I'm starting to downsize and would love to have a shop that size. I'm knocking around by myself around in 3k sq ft shop(from 6k) and can't even keep it swept.   Since you have a forklift have you considered pallet racking?  You can find that stuff super cheap and use it to really make your shop modular by putting up stuff you don't use all the time.  I usually see a pile of it at the scrap yardEdit: Look for structural racking if you do look for it. Roll fromed can have rusted out beams and still liike new.Last edited by kald; 06-24-2013 at 03:27 PM.
Reply:Enjoyed the tour of the shop, looks great and you are meticulous. I met Oxy last week and got a chance to see the brake he picked up. How about that larger one you have in the corner that was leaving to make room for the plasma table, are you selling that? If you can't figure out how to make that plasma table fit you can always keep it over here and visit it whenever you likeKen
Reply:Paul, the most important relocation in your shop is clearly a couple of walls, they seem to be too close to the others, and need to be about two to four times the 'clearance'.Nice shop, thanks for the tour; kick the walls out.Cheers,Kevin MorinKenai, AK
Reply:Thats one heck of a shop!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for doing the video.    Like the saw and all the other goodies you have.   I would like to see your copper work when you get it completed.  Good luck on the plasma. richey    sweet home alabamaOriginally Posted by kaldVery nice shop! Reply:Wow, man, that's a hellofa shop! I said," where's he gonna put a plasma table" just before you did. Good luck shoe-horning that in. Maybe, if the roof trusses will take the weight, have it raise/lower from the ceiling! That would really out Gucci everyone! Looked at the site with the lamps. Those are some of the finest, most beautifully designed lights of that style I've seen!!! Unreal. Did you design them as well or was it someone at Ray Morrow? Either way, bookmarked for future inspiration!!!! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to check out your welding videos. I'm sure everyone here is waiting too! No pressure! Reply:Nice setup, Paul. I've landed a job for the city of Columbus as a welder for the public utilities department. This weld/fab/machine shop here is massive. If I could figure out how to upload a pic or video from this goofy iPhone, I would. I'll send some pics via the laptop this evening. Reply:x2. I'm between ldr and arclight. Just trying to figure out which one to go with. Would like to hear some feedback on the actual machine and customer service.
