Custom Sissy Bar, a little welding, a little fabricating, and a little blacks...

Wife asked me if I could make her a sissy bar with a spanish cross on it to match the theme of her bike.First I built a small forge from paster and sand in side an old mail box. Then I heated and bent the bar to dementions from her bike. Welded toghther some flat bar and designed and cut the cross.Welded it all tougther and attempted to paint to paint it myself.  Sadly, each time it looked like I painted in my garage, so I found a local powder coated and couldnt be more please with the outcome.  Her brothe is an artist and added the silver leaf then clear coated it.I'm extremely surprised and happy with the results.Attachment 872121Last edited by Cbrown6775; 10-13-2014 at 07:43 PM.
