How to tell the difference between F162 and F163

Are there any markings to tell the difference between an F162 and an F163?How much would a good running engine sell for?
Reply:supposed to be a tag on starter side of engine.other than that i don't knowdave
Reply:Oil fill tube is one external ID give-away.The early engine had a pipe oil fill tube with NPT cap.Later engine used a light tube and 1/4 turn oil cap.Good Luck
