AeAd200le in Kc Metro super cheap. bad engine

aead200le with a bad engine if anyone is interested u never know what i might take for it , its in my way at the moment , welder side works has a new fine amperage control in it. Twist lock plugs instead of the tapered on the dc side, its a huge boat anchor at the moment and im sick of walking around it.I forgot how to change this.
Reply:I sure wish you was closer. I'd love to get my hands on that. I'm currently planning on doing a engine change on mine with a Kubota diesel. Reply:i just said hell with it i like the old dawg but i wanted the 14 pin so i went and got a trailblazer last week. so now im trippin over it in the shop lolI forgot how to change this.
Reply:I came real close to doing the same thing a few weeks ago when the idle board went out of mine. I just wish that the trail blazer didn't run wide out all the time. Reply:Yeah i hear ya , but the way i figured most of the time when the little aead was runnin it was running at 3600 rpm as well , as i had the high freq unit hooked up to it or i was grinding or something so its pretty much the same difference , granted i had more power on idle by switchin the switch but that just annoyed meI forgot how to change this.
Reply:Actually the Legend and AEAD200LE welders only run at 3000rpm while welding. While 600 rpm doesn't sound like a lot it does make a difference. Especially when you figure that the Bobcats and possibly the Trailblazers idle at around 2400 rpm. Also the switch doesn't have to be thrown to generate at idle if it's working right. At least on the newer ones anyway. Reply:Yeah it was a damn good machine , its done well for me , it was time for a new welder i guess lol . Hopefully the guy i sold it to can put it back together and get some use out of it. I didnt want to mess with it and i needed a machine yesterday kinda deal so it was time to get a new one! Oh and btw i rarely ever sell anything but when i do ill let ya know .I forgot how to change this.
