Hey all...Has anyone in here installed the gas conversion solenoid into a ln-25? I've acquired a code 10556 ln-25 for free believing it didn't work but it actually does. It has no contactor or solenoid and the lincoln kit is in fact not free. However, I assumed that because the feed motor was 24v the output to the solenoid would be to. I seem to be wrong. The dc voltage at the PC board plug for the gas valve is 115vdc. I'm hoping somebody here has noticed if the lincoln kit has a voltage dropping resistor with a 24v solenoid or has a 115vdc solenoid or any other explanation....

Reply:Thanks, read that...Problem resolved, circuit reads way high when on a cc source. Tested on a cv source @ 23v and the solenoid voltage read 24v. good nuff' |
