MIG gun recommendations

I finally committed on a MIG upgrade.  I found a pristine 2008 Millermatic 350P with a XR-AlumaPro air-cooled gun just under $3k.  I now need to find a steel gun...  I'm looking at the Bernard Q300 15 foot.  Any opinions, pros/cons?GlenMiller Dynasty 200DX - Millermatic 350P - Hypertherm Powermax 45Want to sell!! - Hobart Handler 150
Reply:Best gun for the money. I use the center fire consumables and would recommend them. The whip is a little stiff when new but after using it a while the stiffness goes away.

Reply:I love my Q300.  The consumables are available everywhere.  Love the Centerfire system as well, very easy to clean out spatter and the tips last a very long time.  My only gripe is that the nozzle is non-adjustable by design.  It seats the tip by being fully threaded on, so you need a different nozzle if you want to change the tip extension in relation to nozzle.  Mine came shipped with the nozzle that had the tip 1/8" recessed.  I cut the nozzle to allow me to have a 1/16 " tip extension as I usually do low amp SC mig.  The replacement nozzles with different stick outs can get pricey.  BTW, look on eBay for your Q300.  They are much cheaper than the MSRP.  You can usually get a good one for $100-125.TA Arcmaster 300CM3XMT 304S22P12 suitcase feederX-Treme 12VSOptima pulserTA161SMaxstar 150STLHypertherm PM45OP setupStihl 020AVP, 039, 066 Magnum
Reply:Well, the MM350P is here!
