All the info I can find for ER70S-6 refers to MIG. Can I TIG using pure argon with ER70S-6?

Reply:I believe argon and helium are your primary choices, anything with CO2 will NOT work (C25, etc.)Miller Multimatic 255
Reply:Argon helium mix will give you better penetration than strait argon. The mix is more expensive though.

Reply:Yes you can., I used that same wire just a few days ago on an outside corner joint of a 16 ga box i made. I used 035 MIG wire from my MIG welder.
