I like 6" cutting disks for portable work, and modded the guard on my 28V Milwaukee angle grinder to take them. Here's an easy way to use 'em on a Milwaukee 28V 6 1/2" circular saw.The stock spacer on the "saw side" doesn't positively locate the disk, but the inner spacer from my 6" Metabo fits nicely. Ensure whatever spacer you use doesn't rub, and have at it.Gray spacer at right is the Metabo part. Bolt and outer spacer washer are stock Milwaukee.I use light pressure and don't bog the tool because it's cordless, but you can obviously do this with corded tools.Thick abrasive blades take much more power to run than thin ones.
