Posting projects here is a severe pain in the butt.  Safari evidently hates Welding Web and is tied up on the IPad air, won't work on the Macbook pro, and the photos are all on the mac stuff because I used the Iphone for the camera.Got a call yesterday morning."Can you make me some of those three piece pipe sawhorses?""Sure""I want them heavy duty""How about four inch fence tube (3 1/2" Schedule 40)?""That should work, two sets."Four hundred dollars later I have most of the material in hand. Reply:I like to keep it simple.  And as any weldor knows, no one knows how to keep it simple better than a framing carpenter.  I use the DeWalt worm drive because I like it a ton more better than the Skill, aka 77.  The blade is the $40.00 Steel Demon found at the orange box store.  For the cope and minor adjustments if required I have angle grinders, one of them even has the cutting blade. Reply:This is one of eight, four per set.  I still have to weld on some shoes, flat pieces of galvanized 1/4" plate so they won't sink into the ground over time.Bud has a bunch of lumber he wants to store under an open shed on 125 acres southern Oklahoma, lives in Dallas.  He doesn't want it to touch the ground and rot. Reply:I love the Steel Demon and the worm drive.  I like being able to see my line for my cut which you can't do with the dedicated steel cutting circular saws.  It's a lot faster than a portaband, more accurate than a torch, especially on galvanized stuff.  This blade has been on for over a week, cut a bunch of 3/16" plate on a 53' van body repair, 1 1/4" inch pipe on a handrail job, plus a bunch of other regular work.  The secret is to treat it like you're mad at it.  If you want to dull the blade instantly go all touchy feely on it like it's a girl/boy friend.  The only thing worse than that is to try to shave material with it.  That's what grinders are for.  When a blade gets dull I will grab a piece of half inch plate and force a cut.  That seems to sharpen it back up and it will work well for awhile.I've had some buds that can't seem to get a blade to last more than a minute.  But then they're machinists, you know the type.  Welders see a quarter of an inch gap and say, "nothing but a thing."  Machinists on the other hand see a quarter of an inch gap and squeal, "Oh MY GAWD!  THAT'S 250 FREAKIN' THOUSANDTHS!!!!"life is good
