Are there any brands of chop saw, weather abrasive or carbide tip that you can switch the 45 angle both ways? I know it sounds like a no brainer just to turn the piece upside down to made the matching cut. I was trying to cut some 2"x2" angle and not have the saw cut though the flattest part. To make proper use of the blade on my carbide tipped saw. Looked like I can move the adjustable side of the clamp, but then the hand crank side won't grab the work piece properly. Thanks

Reply:First thing I did with my chop saw was trash the stupid work clamp. They just flat suck. I use a c-clamp directly attaching the workpiece to the fence, it works at any angle, and is very solid. Reply:On my Makita chop saw when doing any cut other than a 90*, I use my visegrip C-clamp to hold it tight against the fence. With out it it tends to creep causing a crooked cut.
