I have an autodarkening 9100V Speedglas and its real nice to use. But I weld in 2 places and don't feel like traveling with the speedglas anymore. I have a fixed kobalt hood that is nice for stick...but for mig and tig I do like the autodarken feature. Nonetheless, what would you recommend in the $100 range? Anything with a slightly larger viewing screen than the speedglas in that range? I don't think I can swing another speedglas thats why I am looking for a slightly lower priced unit this time.
Reply:If you have a second hood, why not just upgrade it to an auto-darkening lens?http://www.arc1weldsafe.com/products...ro-fit-filtersLast edited by whtbaron; 01-23-2016 at 12:02 PM.250 amp Miller DialArc AC/DC StickF-225 amp Forney AC Stick230 amp Sears AC StickLincoln 180C MIGVictor Medalist 350 O/ACut 50 PlasmaLes
Reply:I have a Lincoln Viking. Its more than $100 . I like it but it goes trough batteries too fast. I would say to get the largest lens you can. I hat those little 2 1/4 lenses.
Reply:I have a Linc Screen. No batteries or any crap like that. Shall be around 100$ these days, I guess. Works as a charm for TIG>15A, MIG and stick. Though, I have only tested it with TIG. Rather large lens as well. Hope it helps one way or the other.Отправлено с моего iPhone используя Tapatalk

Reply:The Hobart Impact series seems nice. Solar and battery, 1/25,000 switch speed, and 3 arc sensors. Not sure if its a particularly clear puddle view when dark but reviews here seem alright: http://store.cyberweld.com/hohoweheimbl.html
