Reply:I've had my 9100X for almost three years now. I had no idea how new it was when i got it. I have nothing bad to say about the helmet at all. The new headgear system is miles above anything else I've worn. My only complaint thus far is that it can be a real pain to find lenses etc. at the LWS and most shops I've been at don't have them either so you'll be buying your own. I'm really happy with the shield and any time I've had any problems the customer service at 3M has been top notch. I needed a replacement part and they had it out by courier next day.

Reply:Hello Lamename,I was researching helmets when I read that you were building a Micro Tig. I build and repair lots of small stuff and being able to Micro Tig would be the cats pajamas. Ive seen jewelry repair as well as eyeglasses done that way. Any suggestions? Is a microscope a requirement?
