Hello all, I just pulled one of my sa200s out that i have not ran in a year or so, it runs great and will excite off the 110 outlet but will not excite when trying to strike and arc. I am thinking it might be the reed switch but am unsure, any help would be greatly appreciatedthanksJeremy
Reply:Yes, it could be the reed switch. Make sure it has a good ground to the chassis and if your idler board is the type that has a spade terminal for the reed switch lead (red wire) rather than hard soldered, make sure it is getting good contact too.You can check the board operation by grounding the red lead.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
