I recently bought this welder for $20 from a guy and he said it did not work. It took about an hour and i had it running! I was wanting to fix it up and was wondering what the paint code is so i could repaint it and replace the hood and face plate. Any information any one could give me on finding this info would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help on the paint code. I believe there's an outfit in Oklahoma that sells face plates, I can't for the life of me remember the name. Reply:they guy we i bought it from was some one for the high school here in my town and said they were going to junk it so i offered him $20 and have not seen him since i have got it working. the problem that was wrong with it was that they had left it out in the open and rain went down the muffler and rusted up the cylinder wall but we got it cleaned out real quick.

I'll take it off your hands and even give you your $20 back.I use Duplicolor Cherry Red but I'm sure there are others as good or closer to the real thing.
