Hey guys just found this ad for an SA 200 and was wondering if this is a good deal for this machine? I'm also wondering how much these things weigh? Thanks
Reply:Need to see the ad or have a little more information and they weigh in around 1300# without running gear (trailer).MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:If it's everything the ad says and implies, get it before it's gone.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:Really eh? Anything specifically to look out for if I go and have a look at it?
Reply:Check the condition/level of oil and coolant, Make sure it in fact runs, starts easy, doesn't smoke/knock, has good oil pressure, doesn't overheat, burns rods in all gears and ask for any test results documents that might be available just to name a few.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:I bought one sight unseen and was happy to have the heap. Most SA-200's are repairable to working machines for minimal money if you have even the slightest clue about engines and simple electrical systems.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Why cant I ever find a deal like that? I watched craigslist for like 6 months. I was looking for a decent machine at a decent price, and finally gave up. Thats a good deal if its a functioning machine.
Reply:I just randomly looked on Craigslist today to find that, unfortunately I don't think my truck would be able to handle the weight in the back and I'm not sure if a trailer is the best thing
Reply:I never find anything decent on CL....
Reply:If it were within 300 miles of me I'd own it...there's one here for 2K that needs work. He's been advertising it for over 2 months and won't come off the price. It is on a trailer.... but the trailer needs a overhaul also!! My brother has one on a trailer that runs perfectly. He bought it last year with the trailer and 150' of leads for $1100.00 |
