Measurements and Angles

What's the best way to guesstimate the measurements and angles for this wood rack?  Thanks in advance.
Reply:Looks like 4" siding which would make the deck boards around 6" which would make the log rack around 5' wide. Sides look to be around 5-8 degrees off 90 and material looks to be all 2" square tube probably 1/4" wall.12v battery, jumper cables, and a 6013.I only have a facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/VPT/244788508917829

Reply:They make phoo/measure programs for smart phones for borrowing ideas, but you can scale off what you have.  I'll bet its 2x6 deck and 2x2x1/8" tube. You wil have to guess the angle by printing up a couple pictures out and grabbing a crayon.

Reply:I'm guessing in the middle for height, if the guy used only one 24 ft bar of 2x2 tubing, sides would be 30" x 4pcs....(10 ft). + 2 rails x 5 (10 ft) ft + 6 cross bars 8" ( 4 ft)  assuming fire wood logs are about 16 inches long.This being a non precision project it can be done with a large +/- margin.edit: i can be completely wrong tooLast edited by snowbird; 11-30-2014 at 11:11 PM.
