Been mostly a lurker for over a year. Here are some of the projects I've built. First picture, wife said we needed doorbell, I tend to be a bit literal when complying with requests. The second picture, those are bb gun targets. Final one is a terrarium I made for my brother. Attached Images
Reply:I like the terrarium. Any more pics?
Reply:The door bell and terrarium are cool!
Reply:Here goes. I completely botched the design on the mechanism, the flask and the magnifying glass rotates together - should have kept the magnifying glass stationary and just rotate the flask - grrr Attached Images
Reply:Great stuff. I love threads like this. I wish I had the eye/vision.Dave ReberWadsworth Ohio
Reply:Really cool projects.
Reply:Thanks! Its funny, I like the threads where folks are building or reparing useful things the most because I don't have the vision for that at all.The most useful thing I've welded was nuts to snapped off bolts in an outboard tilt and trim. One more project I had pictures of (need to be better about taking pictures), added a door and taller stack to a chiminea a friend was getting rid of. Reply:in foto 2 , the targets..the screw on the right with the aggressive thread..i have one like it..right below where you welded to it mine has 4 "ramps" cast in..like there was a ratcheting wrench that would catch when you tightened and slipped when you went the other way..just wondering what you know about its original life..mine came from a railroad spur im told..
Reply:Wow! Cool stuff! You're very creative and brilliant. Great metal work!PlasmaCam CNC cutterLathe and Band SawClamps

Reply:This one I made for my mom. Funny story - had this in my checked luggage. TSA broke it - I guess a pipe w/ electrical mechanisms ain't exactly the best thing to put in a suitcase.
Reply:This one I made after I saw this restaurant: http://www.hammerandsicklempls.com/ I was going to send them pictures, see if they wanted to buy it. But I guess my zeal to make money ran out so now the thing is sitting in my yard. No idea what I'm going to do with it, I'm certainly not like some sort of soviet fan.
Reply:I have a bunch of those rail anchors(post 1, pic 2) of different styles. Always wondering what I could make with them.I thought this was cool.
