Water Cooled torch??

I'm looking at buying either a used 175 Pro for $1500 with a watercooled torch or a new 225. I will be welding primarily aluminum, somewhere around .090 to .250 thick. Most of the welds will be under 6" in length.  I've thought about building a cooler if I go with the new welder, but I need some input here. Will an air cooled torch get too hot to be productive? Is the 175 going to be big enough? Thanks for the help, Ron
