Hello guys!I need help. I need a band saw site discussing break-in procedure and the differences of band saw blades. My nephew is doing research on it and it seems he cant find one. The paper is due two weeks from now.
Reply:Tell him to refine his Google search methods lol. Try this for a starter:http://www.starrett.com/docs/saw-res...mendations.pdf "Anybody can talk $h!t behind a monitor, I let the quality of my work speak for itself"Lincoln Square Wave 255 and 355 Tig Lincoln 255 Power-Mig w/ spool gun Koike 5 x 10 CNC plasma Hyd-Mech DM-10 bandsaw Ineco QB-76 NC tube bender
Reply:Eugene, check www.sawblade.com for the blade types, break-in procedure and a whole lot more about band saws. There is a link on the left of the page. Also, try www.bandsawblog.com. I’ve read many good reviews about how informative the blog site is regarding band saws.Hope the sites will help your nephew earn an A.

Reply:break saw in for 5 to 10 minutes cut time at half feed speed, this rolls edge of tooth over so it does not snagafter break in chips should look like little curls not saw dustif end of saw farthest from hinge is hopping your feeding to fastif cuts are not straight check for bad teeth, lose guilds or improper speed |
