Has anyone taken the fixture for the 3rd axis off of a WAC 35SW 3-axis clamp to use as a 2-axis fixture similar to the WAC 35D? I emailed Strong Hand Tools to ask if they use anything like red loctite that would make it a bad idea to mess with. They didn't answer my question but sent a very short reply -- "Not recommended." It's not even an complete sentence in response, but I guess that's my own damage from growing up with an English teacher for a mother! So......anyone tried this?

Reply:They send a tolerance report on accuracy with each one. Disassembling one would likely make the report worthless, and therefore might void the warranty. only a guess.Millermatic 211Everlast 200DX Thermal Arc 181iKlutch ST80i lunchbox stick welderLincoln Weld-Pak 100Century Stick welderPowermax 30 plasma cutterHenrob 2000 torchLogan 200 lathe (60 years old)Clausing 6339 Lathe (for sale)
