good deal or not? to pass up on a used miller maxstar 150stl  for 550 dollars? the only thing missing is the 220 plug and I have no idea if you can buy them or not.. I only have 110 at the moment but possibly getting 220 in the near future so the 220 adapter would be somthing id need later on.Last edited by 1AgKid; 02-14-2016 at 03:55 PM.Mullets&Pullets

Reply:I can't tell from the picture if it's got the 120 plug wired direct to the welder or if that's a twist lock. We have ours at work set up with a 30A male twist lock on the welder power cord and a couple adapters for 120 and 240 made from hardware store SO cord and plugs/receptacles

Reply:I've used the STH version to TIG weld and it works good. It is a very light and compact machine. For $550 i would go for it - the lowest I've seen near me is $750. Not to mention they also run well of a 5+kW generator if you ever need to do mobile work or repairs. You can buy the 220v adapter from Miller or make a little pigtail adapter yourself.
