I just a lincoln buzzbox and carrying it around is really a pain because it's pretty heavy. I would really like to build a cart for it but have searched the web and found not much. Has any of yall made one or do yall have any ideas for help? -Thanks
Reply:There might be an idea or two here you can use.http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...ead-Post-Em-Up!!
Reply:Guessing you mean roll it around the shop, as opposed to actually carrying it. Home Depot sells a cheap wheel/axle kit which works fine. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Lincoln-E...K761/100202535I added an old lawnmower handle to the back, which doubled as a cord hanger.Hobbyist - At what point is a "hobby" out-of-control?
Reply:Yes you read my mind
Reply:You could also just put it on a dolly when you want to move it. If you get that wheel kit you are going to want a handle on the top so you aren't bent over and running over your feet while moving it.GravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.
Reply:Google search welding carts. That welder should be pretty easy to make a cart for bc u don't have a bottle

Reply:I have a cart for my Hobart much like spicytuna's cart.Just 4 pieces of scrap angle iorn, 2 straight casters, 2 swivel casters. Had it all laying around didn't want to drag the welder around.Temporary, well see how long but I am going to build a cart for that and my tig welder.
Reply:Build a angle iron frame with casters to set it in or get a cheap two wheel hand truck.
Reply:This looks like a pretty nice, relatively simple cart.http://www.newmetalworker.com/Howto/linc225cart.html |
