Ok, well it rained into my machine. I know I should have put it inside but I figured the flapper...The rest is history. I had no compression on 432, but had it on 1(and it ran). I took everything apart and got all but 2 valves loose. its the 2 right where the water came in at the exhaust. I have poored some oil on them and lubed everything as good as i can get to, Ill let it soak in over the next couple days. Any good suggestions to get thoose 2 loose without taking the head off the machine and doing a complete valve job. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appericated. I will be picking my other lincoln sa-200 up from the repair shop in the morning and after getting the bill($932.50) for a carb clean and tune up!.. I am trying to avoid taking this one there. The machine in question is:SA-200-F-163CODE: 6792S.N. A-639320Thanks Attached Images
Reply:These were the "before the oil pictures".
Reply:Soak with your favorite potion, and then using an air-chisel gently rattle valve-stem/retainer while off cam, start engine with side cover off, repeat when valve sticks again.Good Luck
Reply:I will try that. What is the best penertrating oil you guys use? I use pb blaster most of the time(or whatevers on sale)
Reply:PB Blaster works great for that JR.  I've got an old Kohler genset that has needed the valves freed up in the past from lack of running.  It's not necessary but likely to go quicker if you pull the manifolds to spray the valve stems from the top of the guides before forcing them closed.  Once closed, spray the stem thru the spring and either using a big screwdriver between the lifter and valve stem - or turning the engine over as denrep suggests - work the valve open/close until it moves freely.  Not a big deal, just a pain in the neck.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:Yeah, what those guys said!! I had some stuck valves earlier this year on a new to me machine. Pulled plugs, mystery oil in the cylinders, pulled inspection cover, more squirt and soak overnight. Next morning gentle tap tap with brass hammer and they freed right up.2011 Dodge 3500 diesel duallyLincoln SA-200Lincoln SAE-300LN-25'sLincoln Idealarc R3RMiller Trailblazer 302
Reply:the best break-free type of lube is hands down "kano kroil" and in the aerosol can "aero kroil" try it and you will be amazed if you cant find it  sea foam's "deep kreep" aerosol, Marvel's mystery aerosol and LPS are all much better than WD , 3 in one, and PB good luck! some kerosene/mineral spirits  in the oil would help a ton too but don't run the engine under load with it in

Reply:How many more do you think he needs?
Reply:I dont need anymore welders! I have more than I can use now... THE GOOD NEWS:  Well I got all the vavles loose and working free. I cant put it back together yet because some parts(manifold Gasket) is on order, will be here in the morning! I did the old soak it and soak it, Then I used a chisel to tap the valves. They poped loose then kept sticking when turning it over, I kept soaking it and working them untill they are freed up real good now. I want to say thanks for the help. I took some more pictures today and will post the finish up and a video of it buring some rod tomorrow, in case anyone else has the same problem in the future. THE BAD NEWS: The D!CK i payed to do the carb and wires in the other machine did...but it will need attention also. Its not running right and it is leaking gas to. It will not be going back either. I just need to learn these things in&out. Attached Images
