is the coarse adjustment rheostat on an early sixties sae 300 with a continental 6cyl the same as the fine adjustment rheostat on a sa-200? what does anyone know about the fine adjustment on this machine it weights like 50# ? do they go bad like the rheostats do? how would i go about testing each piece of equipment im assuming they will ohm out? and what ar the parameters? thank you for all your help
Reply:ok so i answered 1 part so far the rheostats are the same, exact but i would still like to know a bit about diagnosing one that may be bad. and about the other control on the 300 the one that weighs 50 pounds
Reply:Can't help you out on the 'reactor' (the 50# item) but the resistance on the rheostat is 64ohms.Bill or Kaye Sellon (http://billswelderrepair.com/home.html) should be able to answer your questions on that reactor.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
