i just save 1, 4,5'' made in usa in 1951 i search a bit but i found nothing about the vise or the company.maybe someone in this forum knows
Reply:At least at one time, Prentiss Vise Co. made a vise model that was called ANCHOR. They also had Bull Dog, Monarch, Lewis, Gipsy, Yankee, Handy and others. That is from a listing in a 1918 Chilton Automobile Directory.
