Reply:Any tips are welcome
Reply:I thought we were talking about ur tungsten? What tungsten are u using and what size?
Reply:1/16 i think friendbgave it to me
Reply:How about the other questions I asked you. Do u know what post flow is and stick out?
Reply:I try and pull away slowly for post flow andstick out is like 3/8 i guess.
Reply:U pry have to much stick out and not enough post flow. Try the changes and see what happens. Your tungsten should look like it did when u grinded it. 18 cfh sounds like plenty tho. I use even less. Do u know how many seconds of post flow you had it set at?
Reply:Cheap welder no post flow.
Reply:Then u pry have a gas valve on the torch. U need to leave it on for about 5 sec minimum if ur welding at 80 amp. At 180 ill leave it in for about 15 sec. A rule of thumb is u want about 1 second post flow for every 10 amps but I can't afford to do that until I start getting paid more often to weld for poeple.
