Reply:I was a bit confused by the pvc shocks but I get it now. Buggy looks great. I got a friend that's getting into building those. I've seen a lot of junk rolling around but this one is top notch.Lincolin Power Wave 450, Lincoln Powermig 255, Lincoln Pro Mig 140, Lincoln Squarewave Tig 275, Miller Big 40 G(with Hobart Hefty suitcase), Thermal Arc 95S and Esab PCM875 in an already full machine shop.

Reply:I think you will need more collector length sense It will probably be  a low rpm motor most of the time. What header length did u use and collector size

Reply:motolife313  the tubes are around 20" 1-3/4"  3" collectors... I'm just doing it the way the owner wants it...    I agree the tubes could be a little longer but I believe it will be fine.. He's not trying to set the world on fire....  Gamble the collectors are top secret!   No,, you put a Throwing star shape filler piece where the tubes all come together weld it in and then continue the weld at the end of the points and continue them around to the outside of the tubes up to where the top of the collector will go and then when you weld the collector on it will be all sealed
Reply:Thats good for like 8 to 12000 rpm range. Customer gets what customer wants I guess. Those are some really nice bends. U could have used 1 5/8 with bends that nice

Reply:Thanks.    Motolife. They are mild steel so I didn't back purge them... He is going the have them coated.

Reply:It's called (pipemax) it's about 75 dollars and I think you get about 2 or 4 keys. The guy who designed it is a expert head porter and engine builder. Larry muaex is his name. You can learn more about him at speedtalk.com there is alot more then header specs when you buy it. It's about harmonic wave timing.  Well worth buying if you port heads and make intake and headers!!!! Darin Morgan uses it to over at reher Morrison.
