Gardner-Denver Vertical Air Compressor

I have a old Vertical Compressor from Gardner-Denver that I want to get running. I got from a friend about 5 yrs ago, it was running at the time, the electric motor burnt up, so he ended getting another compressor. This thing would run with no problem back then, he gave it to me, I stuck it in storage because I was moving at the time, its been there ever since.I search for info on this compressor with no luck, I got a tank and a electric motor, I want to put this thing to use. I like to give it a once through but I don't want to tear it down until I know I can find parts. Does anyone that know where to get parts or info?Here's the info plate that's on it, Attached Images
Reply:If it is free just fire it up and run it.  The trouble with air compressors is if there is anything wrong with it other than an unloader issue you will quickly reach the cost of a new unit.  The last set of compressors I sent away in the scrap bin were Compair-DeRoy.  Just replacing the discharge valves and an unload piston was $750+.  It doesn't really make sense when you can buy a top of the line Quincy QR325 unit for $1200-1700.  Expecially because the Compair unloader system is garbage and ended up fouling up a year later.  Lets just say both units are in the dumpster and two Quincies are rattling away in their place.But, when I need compressor parts I go to Air Perfection  http://www.airperfectioninc.com/index.html
Reply:Funny, that's what my buddy told me today, mount that compressor and fire it up.Making a bracket tomorrow and going to do that.
