I have an old Lincoln SP 200 that has not been used for some time and now has problems with it. When I turn the power switch on, I do not get voltage to the gauge but the fan runs. After further checking, I found no voltage to the coil. But, if I manually engage the contactor, it registers on the gauge. I was thinking it might be the 11 pin relay mounted on the circuit board but do not know the right way to test it.Any information or suggestions would be appreciated.
Reply:see reply on other thread. If the relay unplugs from the pc board you can apply coil voltage to the coil and check the contacts with an ohm meter. check your pc board fuse. check your diagram and look for the power lines to the pc board. If memory is correct most of the pc board runs off weld voltage. |
