Hi,I know this is not a standard option and disregarding any warranties, is there anyway something can be wired into the board to adjust these parameters? For eg, a dial/potentiometer of some sort? Thanks,ArielMy weekend hobby -
Reply:You may find the % of on time is controlled by programming. The background current might be adjustable by finding the background resisters and changing them. But any changes will risk the very expensive control pcb. The back ground current power supply in on the pc board. If you want a pulser with full control you might be better off building a control box that plugs in between the foot control and the welder. It will need a switching timer and an output select. It could operate just like a foot control and would not void your warranty. Miller used to make one so a pulse could be added to any Miller TIG welder with a 14 pin connector.
Reply:thanks for that. Thing is that it already has the pulse function, but the % on time (what seems like 50/50) and background current are not ideal, so I would like to adjust these. Is this possible via the foot control? My weekend hobby -
Reply:Any other help or ideas?Any lincoln people on here? is it possible to have the board reprogrammed by Lincoln directly? My weekend hobby - |
