Does anyone here use either of the above? Wondering if a downdraft table would work well for grinding and sanding dust and keeping all the dross and other debris off the floor. Also this air filtration kit. Anyone have any comments on them? Even with a water table the shop will still get a little smokey. Wondering how well these work and if they are worth the money. They seem like an inexpensive investment http://www.grizzly.com/products/Hang..._source=directEdit: they also have this one. Not sure which would work better http://www.grizzly.com/products/Benc..._source=directLast edited by Gamble; 03-26-2016 at 11:18 PM.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
Reply:Those would be great for working in a small shop with dust not smoke. http://www.harborfreight.com/13-gal-...tor-61808.html I use one of these to remove the dust and smoke to the outside of the shop. Using dryer semi-flexiable vent tubing To direct the air flow in the area through the blower to the outside. Doing this inside a closed heated shop works well for me. Before I had a cloud of dust and smoke that would look like a foggy morning inside my shop.Klutch 220si mig , stick, and dc tigHobart 140 AHP ALPHA 200X 2016Lotos LTP5000DSmith O/P
Reply:Anyone else? I may get an air filtration system and a dust/smoke extractor and look into a downdraft at a later dateTorchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer

Reply:Got the air hanging filter kit. Different brand, same machine. Hoping to get it hooked up by the weekend.Next I'll look into a downdraft table, but before that I think I'll build a small hood and get a fan or a larger fume extractor to capture the dust that the water table doesntTorchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer |
