I bought a beat up Miller suitcase from a guy, got a pretty good deal. He didn't know anything about it. I brought it home and powered it up. Comes up fine. Today I was reading the owner's manual, idly thinking about how I might use it, and I realized that mine doesn't look quitelike the picture in the manual. Searched the Web. I don't see *any* that look quite like mine.Mine has a 5-pin or maybe 6-pin receptacle on the front panel. Nobody else's seems to. Is this some kind of option? See the pic:metalmagpie

Reply:Nice mastech. HY3030EX? I got the 3050EX for my wire cutter, anodizing, and rust electrolysis. I don't know what to tell you on the 12vs other than I'm sure you can find a diagram for a standard one and if the internal boards are the same, you should be able to re-wire it and replace the 5 pin with a standard socket.--Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow |
