Smoker fit for a kind.. or at least a judge

A judge here in town has been wanting a smoker made for personal use, and one of my classmates was able to contact him and got clearance to start on a smoker, and the judge will be supplying our funds whenever we need new materials (so I guess you could say he is spoiling us).  We are making it out of a 250 gallon propane tank, putting it on an axle, "square" firebox, and will be an offset smoker WITHOUT tuning plates .  I will be posting pictures every chance possible, but I am still working on how to transfer them from my phone to the computer (no internet on my phone).  I'm all ears for advice, and thanks for reading!Trash talk stops when the hood dropsDon't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

Give that a try and see if it works for you. Under your contact list, put your e-mail address in place of the phone number and send it that way. Worked for me, maybe it will for you, don't know till you try.Smoker fit for a kind? What kind of kind are you meaning?If you do a really good job on this smoker, it may help you if you get into any trouble down the road, if this same judge is presiding over your court appearance. You may get some charges dropped or at least reduced. But I'm not advocating you to go into a life of crime because of it. I was talking more like a traffic ticket or something minor.
Reply:My dad just showed me a way to do it pretty easily, but thank you for the advice anyways!  I didn't catch my mistake will posting the thread, but it was supposed to say "king", and I do not know how to change that, if it's even possible.  Also, I am telling my welding teacher the same thing, because I personally want it as flawless as possible, but he isn't be as peculiar as I am.  Hopefully I won't be making any appearances in court, but of course that isn't a guarantee!  Anyways, I will be posting some pictures in just a few.Trash talk stops when the hood dropsDon't cry because it's over, smile because it happened
Reply:The first picture is just an overall view of the tank as it sits right now.  The second is the axle we will be mounting it on.  The third and fourth is my partner (that contacted the judge) finishing cuts on the door to get it open.  The last is the voltage and wire speed we are running. Reply:Just peculiar enough to care about how good my projects come out to look like and work!  Yes, we are.  They are standard Z87 rated clear vision safety glasses.  I like them how they help me vision out the cuts, but only to a certain extent.  I'm pretty bad on seeing spots after I cut, so it bugs me quite often.Trash talk stops when the hood dropsDon't cry because it's over, smile because it happened
