My wife wants a display case for a broken native pot that her dad found in a cave many years ago. It was sent to the U of A (GO CATS!) and analyzed and although it is very old, it doesn't have a lot of museum value so they gave it back. So I am trying to come up with ideas on something tall and not too wide, like 14x14" or so, that will look nice and be able to put glass panes in it. I have some mesquite for the shelf and I plan on using a puck light on top. I can hide the transformer under the shelf and the low voltage wire inside the tubing. The plan is to have it free standing in the room with a floor receptacle for power. Anyone built something like this?Last edited by bigb; 02-08-2015 at 06:27 PM.Miller Challenger 172Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC 225/150Miller Maxstar 150 STLVictor 100CVictor JourneymanOxweld OAHarris O/ASmith O/A little torchNo, that's not my car. |
