Hello members. I'm a new member and needing some help. I've had a new Century 140 wire welder for about 4 months and I haven't burned the 2lb of .035 core wire that was sent with the machine.I would like to use .030 core wire but I'm not sure if I have to buy a new drive wheel. My machine has dual grove wheel. The manual only mentions .035 core wire and .023 solid wire. Will my machine work properly with .030 core wire or will I have to buy another wheel? Thanks.
Reply:It should be fine with the .030 wire.
Reply:Use the .023 grooved side of the drive roll and you'll be fine. Hope this helps!Miller XMT-3502 Lincoln Power Mig 140C (One w/ dedicated spoolgun)Jackson NexGen / Miller Digital EliteMiller S32P SuperWeldcraft 17fv & 9fv Tig TorchVictor & Purox O/ALincoln Ranger 9Fairly Cold Beer!!
